  • Doing Business With Mercer County

    Mercer County is making a concerted effort to include more Mercer County business owners in their bidding and contracting process and is reaching out to more business owners to teach them how to accomplish this. This program includes current bidding opportunities, information on how to prepare a bid, what to expect during the bid process, what is required once you have won the award, how to get paid, and more.

  • Breakthrough Excellence in Leadership Roundtables

    Breakthrough Excellence in Leadership Roundtables Logo
    Breakthrough: “an instance of achieving success in a particular sphere or activity.” Our Breakthrough Excellence in Leadership Roundtables bring together company leaders for a stimulating exchange of information, ideas and insights.  The half-day monthly sessions explore the key drivers of a business led by guest specialists with extensive but varied business expertise. Benefit from the collective wisdom and multiple perspectives on business and operational issues through open and unbiased discussions. Attendees have the opportunity to present to the group a challenge, issue or opportunity that is related to the topic at hand and can receive immediate feedback in a confidential environment. Engage in more effective strategic and effective visionary thinking, share best practices by learning from others who have “been there, done that” thereby avoiding mistakes, pitfalls and roadblocks with their businesses. All attendees can receive one-on-one attention and resources between meetings.

  • QuickBooks Hands-On Training – Now Available Onsite!

    Is your bookkeeping a mess? Are you concerned your federal or state business taxes might have some accounting gaps? Are you afraid it is too hard to learn because you are so busy? QuickBooks is your bookkeeping solution. Get your books quickly in order and spend more time doing what you do best!

    The QuickBooks hands-on training sessions will vary slightly depending on the instructor’s goals, however, most trainings will cover a combination of the following: Accounting fundamentals, QuickBooks setup, and transactional QuickBooks (the complete process of managing your business financials through QuickBooks, from transaction entry to reporting).

    Onsite QuickBooks TrainingThe QuickBooks trainings are held in a computer lab, affording you the invaluable experience of hands-on learning in an interactive setting. Participants will be given a binder of the class materials, and are encouraged to use these documents as checklists and guidelines for using QuickBooks.

    Additionally, you now have the option to train your employees onsite from the comfort of your office or place of business. See the flyer at left for details on how you can make the most of your time and have US come to train YOU.

  • Strategic Needs Assessment

    Our Strategic Needs Assessment (SNA) is used to inspire strategy and organizational development and help identify strengths, weaknesses in a company’s managerial and operational performance; management/leadership teams develop ideas and form a consensus around short-term or long-term plans/actions as well as enhance leadership skills and effectiveness.

    Through our process, we help a management team evaluate their whole company and potentially save time in the process. The SNA has proven to have added value serving as a snapshot for understanding of the current condition of a company. It addresses the whole business for each of nine different management areas including: Current Conditions, Management Vision, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Accounting/Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Implementation of Strategy. Minimum of 10 employees is required.
